## Description

**The Shipping Associate will inspect, package and prepare for shipping a variety of custom exhibit, retail and environment products from Moss production. The position performs both packaging and shipping department functions.**

**Hourly rate: $20.00 - $25.00**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

-   **Inspect product prior to packaging for quality**
-   **Package products using kraft paper, foam, bags, cores and other materials**
-   **Make boxes using a Packsize automated box making machine**
-   **Use strapping machine to seal boxes, some large and up to 75 lbs.**
-   **Package large projects into crates and skid size boxes**
-   **Prepare shipping labels and documents using Moss business system**
-   **Schedule truck and air freight pickups as needed.**

**Communicates with Project Managers and other internal staff in person, via email and phone regarding shipments**

## Requirements

-   Packaging or Shipping Department experience required
-   High school diploma or GED equivalent
-   Aptitude to see a custom project and determine best way to package it to protect it during shipping
-   Knowledge of FedEx, UPS and truck shipments a plus
-   Able to work in a fast paced environment
-   Able to lift up to 75 lbs
-   Stand for 8-10 hours per day
-   Available to work overtime on short notice
