We are now looking to onboard several **experienced Trade Surveillance Analysts** to join this fast-paced remediation programme.

### **Role Overview**

As a Trade Surveillance Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, investigating, and dispositioning trade surveillance alerts generated across a range of trading activities. You will assess potential market abuse behaviours, escalate suspicious activity, and maintain high-quality documentation in line with regulatory expectations.

## Requirements

- Analyse trading patterns to identify potential **insider dealing**, **market manipulation**, **wash trades**, **layering**, **spoofing**, and other forms of market abuse.
- Conduct research, including news checks, historical behaviour analysis, and counterparty reviews.
- Write clear, concise, regulator-ready rationales for each alert.
- Escalate potential suspicious activity to the Investigations or Compliance Advisory teams.
- Work towards daily and weekly throughput targets with strong accuracy and quality control.
- Contribute to improvements in alert calibration, thresholds, and surveillance processes where appropriate.
- Collaborate with team leads and quality assurance reviewers to maintain consistency and high standards.

### **Requirements**

### **Essential**

- 2+ years’ experience in a **Trade Surveillance**, **Market Abuse**, or **Market Monitoring** role.

- Experience using one or more surveillance platforms such as:

- NICE Actimize
- SMARTS
- Scila
- Nasdaq

- Behavox
- Mantas

- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret trading behaviour.
- Excellent written communication, with proven ability to produce high-quality alert rationales.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet throughput SLAs.
- UK-based (due to regulatory and project requirements).

### **Desirable**

- Experience working on alert backlogs or remediation projects.
- Previous consultancy or contract project experience.
- Knowledge of fixed income or derivatives trading.
- Prior exposure to s166 or regulatory remediation work.

### **What We Offer**

- Fast onboarding and weekly payments (via our payroll partners)
- Long-term contract extension opportunity
