We are seeking an experienced **Senior Compliance Manager** to lead regulatory compliance initiatives and strengthen governance across the organization. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in **RBI Compliance, RBI Inspections, and Regulatory Compliance**, particularly within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that business operations comply with applicable regulatory frameworks while fostering a strong culture of compliance and risk awareness.

As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for interpreting regulatory requirements, implementing compliance frameworks, managing regulatory inspections, and providing strategic guidance to business and leadership teams. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to assess compliance risks, establish effective controls, monitor regulatory developments, and ensure timely implementation of regulatory changes. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to balance regulatory obligations with business objectives in a dynamic environment.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead the organization's regulatory compliance function, ensuring adherence to RBI regulations, circulars, and applicable statutory requirements.
-   Manage and coordinate RBI inspections, audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance assessments while ensuring timely closure of observations.
-   Develop, implement, and continuously enhance compliance policies, frameworks, standard operating procedures, and internal controls.
-   Monitor changes in regulatory guidelines and evaluate their impact on business operations, recommending appropriate implementation strategies.
-   Conduct periodic compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal audits to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
-   Collaborate with legal, risk, operations, technology, and business teams to embed compliance requirements into operational processes.
-   Prepare regulatory reports, compliance dashboards, management presentations, and documentation required for internal and external stakeholders.
-   Provide guidance to senior management on regulatory obligations, governance matters, and emerging compliance risks.
-   Conduct compliance awareness sessions and training programs to promote a strong compliance culture across the organization.
-   Support policy governance, issue management, remediation planning, and ongoing monitoring of compliance controls.
-   Ensure accurate documentation of regulatory correspondence, inspection findings, action plans, and compliance evidence.
-   Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen governance practices, operational efficiency, and regulatory readiness.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

-   7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or governance within the financial services industry.
-   Strong hands-on expertise in **RBI Compliance**, **RBI Inspection management**, and overall **Regulatory Compliance**.
-   Comprehensive understanding of RBI guidelines, regulatory reporting requirements, compliance frameworks, and governance best practices.
-   Experience managing regulatory audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and remediation activities.
-   Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business processes and control frameworks.
-   Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and risk assessment skills.
-   Strong stakeholder management abilities with experience collaborating across business, legal, operations, technology, and senior leadership teams.
-   Proven ability to manage multiple compliance initiatives while maintaining high standards of accuracy and regulatory adherence.
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present regulatory matters to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-   Experience within **NBFCs**, **Digital Lending**, or **Loan Service Provider (LSP)** environments will be considered an added advantage.
-   Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
