## Description

Egypt Education Platform is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated **Literacy & Reading Coach** to join our dynamic team at **Westview International Language School**. This role is pivotal in enhancing literacy practices within our school and supporting educators in delivering effective reading instruction across all grade levels.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Collaborate with teachers to assess students' literacy needs and implement strategies to improve their reading skills and comprehension.
-   Create and facilitate professional development workshops focused on best practices in literacy and reading instruction.
-   Monitor student progress through data analysis and provide tailored support and interventions for struggling readers.
-   Design engaging literacy programs and resources that promote a love for reading and accommodate diverse learning styles.
-   Support the implementation of school-wide literacy initiatives and curricula to enhance student learning experiences.
-   Engage with families to promote literacy practices at home, providing resources and strategies for supporting reading development.
-   Stay updated on current research and trends in literacy education and share insights with faculty and staff.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Education, Literacy, or a related field.
-   A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in literacy or reading instruction.
-   Prior experience as a literacy coach or in a similar instructional support role is highly desirable.
-   Strong understanding of literacy development and effective teaching practices tailored to diverse learners.
-   Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and parents.
-   Ability to analyze assessment data and develop targeted strategies for improvement.
-   Passion for fostering a love of reading and supporting student achievement in literacy.
