Registered Nurse (Travel) - Step Down - Lubbock, TX

VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse (Step Down) for an acute care hospital in Lubbock, TX.

Contract details

\- Weekly pay: $1,696/wk

\- Stipend: includes a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267/wk where eligible (GSA FY2027 max for this location)

\- Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:00

\- Duration: 4 weeks

\- Start date: 11/16/2026

\- Openings: 1

About the assignment

\- Short 4-week contract (about 11/16-12/13); locals may extend through the holidays

\- Epic experience required (hard stop)

\- Floating between units required; ratio 1:4

\- Every other weekend; no on-call; 48-hour weeks approved

\- 1 year of experience; first-time travelers accepted

\- Short-term acute care, Level II trauma center (379 beds)

\- Dress code: solid navy blue scrubs

\- Free parking

Requirements

\- Active Texas RN license (compact accepted)

\- 1+ year of recent step-down experience

\- BLS and ACLS

\- Epic experience
