ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its minimally invasive image-guided

diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join

its growing clinical team. The role is designed for internationally trained clinicians seeking career advancement,

ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by

experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Perform image-guided vascular and non-vascular interventions using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and

angiography.

• Assess patients, obtain consent, plan procedures and manage peri-procedural risk.

• Deliver services such as biopsies, drainages, embolisation, angioplasty, stenting and venous access procedures

according to privileges.

• Interpret imaging findings and collaborate with surgery, oncology, nephrology, emergency and critical care

teams.

• Maintain radiation safety, sterile technique, procedural documentation and complication monitoring.

• Contribute to service development, multidisciplinary meetings and clinical governance.

## Requirements

**QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGIBILITY**

Applications are welcome from internationally trained consultant interventional radiologist candidates holding

recognised qualifications such as:

• American Board of Radiology with IR/DR certification

• UK CCT / FRCR with interventional radiology training

• European Board of Interventional Radiology

• Royal College Certification (Canada)

• Australian FRANZCR

• Arab Board

• MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
