### Build, test and bring machines to life — in the UK and across the world

We’re looking for an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join a specialist engineering business, working on bespoke machinery from build through to customer handover. This is a predominantly factory-based role (approx. 75%), with regular opportunities to travel and commission machines on-site.

**Factory-Based Responsibilities (Approx. 75%)** 

-   Carry out QA checks on sub-assemblies, machines, and production lines 
-   Test and validate machinery against specifications 
-   Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with customers 
-   Prepare QA and inspection documentation 
-   Decommission machines ready for shipping 
-   Support customer queries and after-sales issues 
-   Deliver machine demonstrations and trials 

**Site Responsibilities** 

-   Install and commission machinery at customer sites 
-   Set up, align, and integrate machines 
-   Perform on-site fault finding and troubleshooting 
-   Train customers on machine operation 
-   Ensure compliance with safety standards 

**Travel Requirements** 

Typically one trip per month of either; 

-   1–2 days (UK/Europe) 
-   1 week (Europe or further afield) 
-   2–3 weeks (long haul) 
-   Occasional longer trips (up to 5–6 weeks). All travel and expenses covered.

## Requirements

**Essential**

-   Mechanical assembly / machine build experience
-   ONC/HNC or degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
-   Ability to read engineering drawings
-   Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
-   Experience in testing, commissioning, or fault finding
-   Comfortable working with customers

## Benefits

-   **Salary range £35,000 to £43,000** dependent on skills and experience and will be discussed from the outset
