We're looking for a **Network Support Technician** to join our Philippines team, supporting our US-based parent company during US business hours. Yes, it's a late shift. The upside? You can skip the Manila rush hour, enjoy merienda before work, and when your shift finishes, half the world is still deciding what to order for dinner. This role is a broad support role that leans towards networking and security. You can learn more about our values at https://www.firstfocus.com.au/about-us/. ### **Why you'll love this role** - Work with modern networking technologies across multiple customer environments. - Build, configure and support enterprise-grade firewall solutions. - Work with Ubiquiti, while also gaining exposure to other leading vendors. - Solve interesting technical problems instead of resetting passwords all day. - Join an experienced internal support team that enjoys sharing knowledge rather than guarding it like it's the last slice of pizza. - Hybrid working, with remote considered for the right candidate. - Genuine career progression into Engineering or Networking pathways. ### **What you'll be doing** - Deploying, configuring and supporting network infrastructure across multiple client environments. - Installing, configuring and maintaining firewall platforms, with Ubiquiti preferred. - Supporting technologies including routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs and wireless networking. - Troubleshooting complex connectivity and security issues. - Working with project and engineering teams to deliver new network deployments. - Monitoring network health and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. - Providing technical guidance and clear communication to clients. - Creating accurate technical documentation and maintaining network standards. ## Requirements ### **What we're looking for** - Experience supporting business network environments. - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing and switching. - Experience configuring and supporting firewalls. - Ubiquiti experience is highly desirable. - Experience with Fortinet, Cisco, Sophos, Palo Alto, Meraki, WatchGuard or other enterprise networking vendors will also be considered. - Experience with wireless networking, VPNs and network security. - Previous MSP experience will be highly regarded. - Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for solving problems. - Comfortable working late shift to support our US-based operations. ## Benefits ### **What you'll get** - Competitive salary package of **₱80,000 to ₱100,000 per month**, plus benefits. - Hybrid working arrangements, with remote considered for the right candidate. - HMO from Day 1, including one dependent (spouse) and dental cover. - Free access to Uprise with confidential one-to-one coaching from qualified psychologists or counsellors. - Day shift?
