**Pharmathen** offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a **Raw Materials Analyst** to join our team at our Sapes premises.

As a **Raw Materials Analyst,** you will be responsible for conducting RAW materials’ quality control testing adhering to standard operating procedures and under GMPs.

## Requirements

**What you will do:**

More particularly:

-   Participate in the decentralized Peer Review Model by performing analyses and reviewing peers’ analytical data, as appropriate to the role, where applicable and needed
-   Be responsible for laboratory equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
-   Perform biochemical and /or chemical analyses of products
-   Calibrate and maintain lab equipment
-   Participate in the preparation of summaries, and reports.
-   Review data obtained for compliance to specifications, and report abnormalities

**The ideal candidate should have:**

-   BSc Degree in Chemistry or relevant field
-   GMP/GLP and biopharmaceuticals experience

**Job-Specific Skills:**

-   Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
-   Competent in laboratory instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, dissolution)
-   Strong problem solving skills
