**POSITION SUMMARY:**

Focus Interpreting is looking for a proficient Grebo Interpreter with a strong understanding of English legal terminology to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing accurate and sensitive interpretation services in legal contexts, facilitating effective communication between Grebo-speaking clients and English-speaking legal professionals.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

-   Provide interpretation services between Grebo and English during legal proceedings, consultations, and related meetings.
-   Utilize knowledge of English legal terminology to ensure accurate transmission of complex legal concepts.
-   Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
-   Prepare for assignments by reviewing case material and relevant legal terminology.
-   Ensure cultural nuances are appropriately conveyed to support clear understanding.

**REQUIREMENTS:**

-   Fluency in Grebo and English with excellent verbal communication skills.
-   Strong understanding of English legal terminology and concepts.
-   Prior experience in legal interpretation preferred.
-   Ability to maintain neutrality and professionalism in sensitive legal environments.
-   Excellent listening and memory skills to facilitate accurate consecutive interpretation.
