## Description

The IT Ops Engineer - India owns regional IT support, office technology and systems administration for Articore's India office. The role is a peer regional systems administrator to the US engineer, not a ticket-only position.

It gives the India team a dedicated local escalation point for the first time, and contributes to shared follow-the-sun coverage across the global IT team, reporting to the Head of IT.

-   Regional IT Support & Service Desk (30%): Act as the India escalation point for IT requests, operating the service desk and #ask-it channel and triaging issues using published severity levels.
-   Onboarding, Offboarding & Lifecycle Support (20%): Manage onboarding and offboarding execution for the India region - provisioning starter access and devices, and recovering devices/removing access for leavers.
-   Endpoint & Asset Management (20%): Procure, configure, image, deploy and support company-managed devices for the India office; maintain asset inventory, device assignment and warranty handling.
-   SaaS & Vendor Coordination (15%): Administer SaaS tools for India-based staff and coordinate with local vendors on renewals, licensing and support issues.
-   Office Technology & Follow-the-Sun Coverage (15%): Support office Wi-Fi, meeting room technology and workplace systems; contribute to shared queue coverage across time zones, maintaining documentation and runbooks.

## Requirements

-   2+ years' experience in IT support or systems administration, ideally in a regional or office-support capacity.
-   Experience with endpoint management tooling (JAMF, Intune or equivalent) and basic device security hygiene.
-   Familiarity with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 administration, and coordinating SaaS vendor renewals.
-   Working knowledge of office networking and workplace technology (Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, printers, AV).
-   Comfortable working with written, documentation-first processes to support cross-timezone handovers.
