### About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Head of Legal to lead our legal department and safeguard our operations across all countries of operation.

In this role, you will be the ultimate guardian of our legal compliance and corporate governance, while actively managing our litigation portfolio. This is a role for a pragmatic, sharp legal expert who thrives on solving complex business problems, mitigating risks, and leading the compliance & governance agenda.

## Requirements

### Compliance & Corporate Governance

-   Drive Compliance: Ensure total compliance with international regulations (including GDPR and privacy laws) across all operating countries, leveraging both internal talent and external counsel.
-   Corporate Governance: Optimize Group governance, ensuring all secretarial, board, and regulatory requirements and deadlines are met flawlessly.
-   Risk & Insurance: Manage business and corporate insurance policies, balancing risk appetite with cost-efficiency to advise the Board, CEO, and CFO.

### Litigation & Dispute Resolution

-   Civil Litigation Management: Actively oversee and manage all active litigations, disputes, and legal proceedings, coordinating closely with external legal counsels to protect the company's interests.
-   Dispute Prevention: Proactively identify legal risks within business operations to minimize litigation exposure.

### Business Support & Advisory

-   Contract Negotiation: Directly lead high-stakes contract negotiations and supervise the day-to-day contract management handled by the legal team.
-   IP & Asset Protection: Oversee intellectual property protection, rights management, and internal legal advisory.
-   Executive Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to peer directors, executives, and external stakeholders.

### What We Are Looking For

-   Law degree
-   A strong foundational background with 5+ years of experience in a prominent law firm, professional consulting firm or corporate legal department. 
-   Experience navigating the compliance complexities of a publicly listed company is a strong plus.

-   Proven track record of managing complex civil litigations and leading large-scale compliance projects.
-   Ability to drive complex multi-party negotiations to successful closure.
-   M&A experience is a plus.
-   Fluency in English and Italian, any additional European language is a plus.
