## Description

Remote Recruitment is hiring a **Senior Financial Accountant** to take ownership of financial reporting and controls for a UK-based business. Fully remote from South Africa, you'll produce accurate financial statements, lead audit preparation, and ensure robust financial governance.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with UK GAAP or IFRS
-   Lead the year-end close and coordinate with external auditors
-   Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls
-   Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
-   Support the CFO with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting

### What You'll Need

-   ACCA, CIMA, or CA(SA) qualification
-   5+ years of financial accounting experience, ideally in a UK-facing role
-   Strong knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS reporting standards
-   Advanced Excel and experience with accounting systems such as Xero, NetSuite, or Sage
-   Reliable fibre internet and a professional home workspace

### What's on Offer

-   **Salary: R33,000 per month**
-   Full-time, permanent remote position
-   Working hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
