## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and infrastructure components using Python.
-   Build high-performance applications optimized for reliability, scalability, and low-latency execution.
-   Lead technical initiatives and contribute to architectural decisions across engineering systems.
-   Develop automation frameworks, internal tooling, and operational workflows to improve engineering efficiency.
-   Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and SRE teams to enhance deployment, monitoring, and reliability practices.
-   Implement infrastructure-as-code practices and contribute to cloud infrastructure management.
-   Optimize system performance, resource utilization, and operational stability across environments.
-   Build monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions to support production systems.
-   Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization activities.
-   Ensure engineering best practices related to scalability, maintainability, security, and operational excellence are consistently followed.
-   Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

-   4+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python development and backend engineering.
-   Experience working in high-performance or low-latency environments such as trading, distributed systems, or large-scale platforms.
-   Strong understanding of scalable architecture, system design, and infrastructure engineering principles.
-   Proven technical leadership and ownership mindset with the ability to drive engineering initiatives independently.
-   Experience with DevOps, SRE practices, cloud infrastructure, and automation workflows.
-   Familiarity with AWS, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring systems, and reliability engineering concepts.
-   Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging capabilities.
-   Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure engineering environments.
