## Description

**About the Role**  
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance & Accounting team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations across multiple entities. You will play a key role in financial close processes, general ledger management, and multi-state tax compliance while partnering closely with leadership to improve processes and strengthen internal controls.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Manage general ledger activities across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency
-   Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
-   Prepare journal entries, perform complex reconciliations, and analyze variances
-   Oversee multi-state sales and use tax compliance, including filings and audits
-   Maintain state registrations and coordinate with external tax advisors
-   Support intercompany transactions and consolidations
-   Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP
-   Lead external audits by providing documentation and analysis
-   Partner with internal teams to improve accounting processes and controls
-   Monitor changes in accounting standards and tax regulations

**Qualifications**

**Required:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-   5+ years of progressive accounting experience
-   Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
-   Experience with account reconciliations and financial close processes
-   Hands-on experience with multi-state tax compliance and sales and use tax

**Preferred:**

-   CPA or CPA-eligible
-   Experience with ERP systems, Sage Intacct a plus
-   Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

**Work Environment and Schedule**

-   Office or hybrid work environment
-   Monday through Friday schedule, with flexibility between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM
-   Additional hours may be required during month-end, quarter-end, and audits
-   Minimal travel required
