## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Pulmonologist – Specialist / Consultant** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions and providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based practices.
-   Manage conditions such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary infections, and sleep-related respiratory disorders.
-   Perform and interpret appropriate pulmonary diagnostic investigations and procedures.
-   Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically required.
-   Provide consultation for complex respiratory cases and coordinate appropriate referrals.
-   Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, radiologists, intensivists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
-   Educate patients and families about their condition, treatment options, and preventive care.
-   Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records and clinical documentation.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and professional development activities.
-   Maintain compliance with clinical guidelines, patient-safety standards, and healthcare policies.

## Requirements

-   MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Pulmonology / Respiratory Medicine / Chest Medicine** or an equivalent specialty.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as a **Specialist / Consultant Pulmonologist**.
-   Strong clinical experience in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
-   Experience managing **asthma, COPD, pneumonia, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary infections, sleep-related respiratory disorders**, and other pulmonary conditions.
-   Experience with pulmonary diagnostic procedures and interpretation of relevant investigations.
-   **UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, Canadian, or equivalent Western qualifications** are preferred.
-   Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
