**WHO YOU ARE** 

This **Darwin-based** role supports the coordination, review and delivery of design documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with the Design Manager, consultants, subcontractors and project teams, you will help ensure design information is accurate, compliant, buildable and delivered in accordance with project programmes.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

-   Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
-   Three to five years’ experience in a design coordination or project documentation role within the construction industry
-   Sound understanding of construction processes, sequencing and key technical trades
-   Working knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards
-   Strong ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
-   Experience coordinating consultant deliverables, design documentation and approval processes
-   Strong organisational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control and design review platforms such as Aconex, Revizto and Bluebeam
-   A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and project teams

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

-   Coordinate the development and issue of design documentation in accordance with project timelines, including tracking consultant deliverables and maintaining design documentation registers.
-   Review design drawings for consistency, buildability and compliance with project requirements.
-   Facilitate the resolution of design queries, RFIs and drawing conflicts in collaboration with the Design Manager.
-   Support the management of authority and regulatory approvals, including preparing, submitting and monitoring staged building, occupancy and other statutory permits.
-   Lead and minute design workshops, user group meetings and consultant coordination sessions.
-   Uphold the requirements of project Design and Information Management Plans and monitor design review workflows across project consultants.
-   Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to clarify scope, resolve queries and manage expectations.
-   Support the engagement of consultants and monitor their adherence to design briefs, programmes and contractual obligations.
-   Monitor consultant performance and raise concerns relating to design quality, coordination or timeliness.
-   Maintain accurate and current records of design drawings, specifications and issued revisions.
-   Support design reviews, including drawing mark-ups, clash coordination and document control.
-   Assist with HSEQ in Design documentation, environmentally sustainable design compliance records and statutory approvals.
-   Ensure design documentation complies with the BCA, NCC, Australian Standards and other regulatory requirements.
-   Assist the Design Manager in monitoring the design programme, achieving critical milestones and identifying risks or delays that may affect construction sequencing, procurement or project delivery.
-   Contribute to quality assurance processes, accountability, teamwork and professional development while representing DCOH in accordance with the DCOH Code of Conduct.
