United by our purpose, our people bring insight, creativity and rigour to every partnership, helping our clients drive impact where it matters most.

**Role overview:**

We’re seeking an intern, who is passionate about kick-starting their career in healthcare public relations and public affairs.

M+F Health interns are key members of the team and play an important role in supporting the agency to deliver excellent work for our clients and in ensuring the smooth running of agency-led initiatives, both internal and external. Our interns become fully embedded within their allocated client accounts and projects, are responsive to the needs of account teams and the wider agency, and able to juggle competing priorities, seeking support and guidance from colleagues as needed.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide ad hoc support to account teams as required – including support with weekly updates for clients and monitoring of the external policy and media environment.

- Support with delivery of client events and meetings – for example, identifying venues, developing invitee lists, monitoring RSVPs, coordinating logistics and producing attendee biographies and briefings.

- Support with development of client materials across public relations (PR) and public affairs (PA) accounts - including briefings, event materials, press releases and social media content.

- Support with development of new business proposals and activity plans - including delivery of research briefings and assisting development of proposal and pitch presentations.

- Develop daily and weekly media and policy monitoring reports (for clients and for internal teams).

- Support agency marketing - including identifying external events and networking opportunities and coordinating agency social media posts.

- Support with ad hoc agency tasks - including delivery of all-agency meetings and company socials.

## Benefits

**Internship scheme support:**

During the structured, 6-month scheme, our intern will:

- Be allocated to at least one PR and one PA account that they will work on during their internship, providing insight into the day-to-day running of accounts, in addition to being available on an ad hoc basis to the wider agency to support with accounts and new business proposals as needed.

- Be allocated a buddy, who took part in a previous internship with us, to provide additional support and day-to-day guidance.

- Take part in structured internal training opportunities and identify additional training needs in consultation with their line manager to support development of relevant skills and sector knowledge.

- Be involved in delivery of at least one ‘flagship’ event, such as a Parliamentary reception event, from start to finish.

- Deliver a research project on a strategically important topic for M+F Health, contributing directly to business development priorities.
