## Description

We are looking for a hands-on QA Lead to own quality assurance across Idoven’s Health SaaS platform. This is a deeply technical role — you will be the person who builds the QA framework, drives automated testing strategy, and personally implements the testing infrastructure that keeps our AI-powered cardiology product reliable and safe and user/customer-centric focused.

This is not a heavy management role in the traditional sense, although you will manage a small team. The expectation is that you are in the weeds: writing tests, reviewing coverage, tackling the hardest QA problems, and raising the technical bar for quality across the entire engineering organisation. You will also work closely with our Regulatory and Product teams to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and ISO 27001 standards.

### What You’ll Do

•       Design and own Idoven’s QA framework from the ground up, establishing best practices across the engineering organisation

•       Build, maintain, and improve automated test suites with strong coverage across unit, integration, regression, performance and end-to-end testing

•       Supervise data quality and assure the quality of AI/ML features, including feature engineering and feature selection

•       Organise test cases, analyse test outcomes, and proactively communicate risks and blockers before they require escalation

•       Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated test automation

•       Create and maintain QA documentation aligned with ISO 13485 and ISO 27001 regulatory requirements

•       Collaborate cross-functionally with Data, Engineering, Product, and Regulatory teams

•       Help engineers across Tech understand and internalise quality — through tooling, documentation, and direct support

•       Mentor and support one or two direct reports, helping them grow technically

•       Participate in hiring and interviewing for QA and engineering roles

## Requirements

•       **5+ years of experience in automated testing, with a track record of owning QA end to end at a product company**

•       Strong proficiency in **Python** as the primary language for test automation, with hands-on experience building and maintaining test frameworks

•       Deep knowledge of Python testing frameworks, including pytest, and performance/load testing tools such as Locust, k6, or Gatling

•       Proven experience across a broad range of testing disciplines: integration, regression, end-to-end, performance, and load testing

•       Basic DevOps skills: experience building or integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines

•       Experience with user experience and end-to-end quality assurance

•       Clear, direct communicator — able to translate QA findings for both technical and non-technical audiences

•       Comfortable operating as the senior technical reference for QA in a fast-moving startup environment

•       Nice to have: exposure to regulated software environments (ISO 13485, ISO 27001, or similar)

•       Nice to have: prior experience as a technical lead or in a role with informal people responsibilities
