### **Structural Foreman - High Rise Buildings**

Location: Head office- Durbanville, with some sites within the Paarl and Cape Town area.

Employment Type: Full-time

Our client, a reputable construction company specialising in high-rise residential and commercial developments, is seeking a skilled **Structural Foreman** to lead and supervise structural teams on complex high-rise building projects.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Supervise and direct on-site structural work including formwork, reinforcement, and concrete placement in high-rise buildings.
-   Coordinate and manage daily activities of structural workers ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
-   Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules.
-   Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on site.
-   Monitor materials and equipment usage and report shortages or issues promptly.
-   Maintain accurate and timely records including daily progress reports and labor attendance.
-   Train and mentor junior staff and laborers for skill development and safety awareness.

## Requirements

### Requirements

-   Minimum 5 years experience as a Structural Foreman on high-rise building projects (at least 10 storeys).
-   **Previous employment at a reputable construction company (e.g. WBHO, H&I, or similar)**
-   Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete construction methods and standards.
-   Proven ability to manage and lead site teams effectively.
-   Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and site practices.
-   Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
-   Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
