## Description

Our Platform Engineer Supports automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure operations, and monitoring activities while developing hands-on experience with DevOps tools and cloud technologies under senior guidance.

### **Responsibilities**

-   Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to support reliable software delivery.
-   Build, manage, and optimize cloud, on-premises, and containerized environments while ensuring scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.
-   Deploy and support Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms together with IBM Cloud Pak and Confluent components under senior guidance.
-   Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and improve system reliability.
-   Support infrastructure security through access management, vulnerability remediation, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance activities.
-   Collaborate with Development, QUALITY, and Operation Support  teams to enable self-service platforms and promote DevOps best practices.
-   Maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures while supporting continuous platform improvement.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-   Around 2 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, or System Administration.
-   Good knowledge of Linux/Windows administration, CI/CD tools, scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, networking, and monitoring platforms tools (Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK).
-   Basic knowledge of IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) and IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) components is preferred.
-   Experience with Infrastructure as Code, system resilience, backup strategies, and service reliability practices.
-   Understanding security, incident management, troubleshooting, and production environment support.
-   Strong analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
