Compensation:  
\- SGD 10,000 - 15,000 per month  
  
About the Role:  
Fastco is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our expanding engineering team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years of hands-on Java development experience and will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality products and supporting the company’s growth.  
  
Key Responsibilities:  
\- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and backend services.  
\- Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems to support business growth.  
\- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver product features.  
\- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.  
\- Troubleshoot production issues, debug problems, and improve system performance.  
\- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.  
\- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.  
\- Support CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment activities.  
  
Requirements:  
\- Around 5 years of Java development experience.  
\- Strong knowledge of core Java, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.  
\- Experience with Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks.  
\- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.  
\- Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and software development lifecycle best practices.  
\- Strong problem-solving ability and good communication skills.  
\- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.  
  
Preferred Qualifications:  
\- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.  
\- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architecture.  
\- Experience with caching, messaging systems, or distributed systems.  
\- Prior experience in a fast-paced product or platform environment.
