## Description

We are looking for an experienced Resident Solution Architect with strong expertise in Databricks, Modern Data Platforms, Cloud Architecture, and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing scalable enterprise data ecosystems, leading modernization initiatives, and enabling advanced analytics and AI transformation programs for global clients.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design and implement enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms using Databricks Lakehouse architecture
-   Lead end-to-end solution architecture for data engineering, cloud modernization, and AI initiatives
-   Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to define scalable and secure data solutions
-   Drive data platform governance, security frameworks, and best practices across cloud environments
-   Architect high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines and streaming data solutions
-   Support migration from legacy data warehouses and Hadoop ecosystems to modern cloud lakehouse platforms
-   Enable AI/ML and Generative AI use cases leveraging modern Databricks capabilities
-   Provide technical leadership, estimation, architecture reviews, and client presentations

## Requirements

### Required Skills & Expertise

### Data Engineering

-   Strong experience in Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, Structured Streaming
-   Expertise in ETL/ELT design and data pipeline optimization
-   Experience with performance tuning and scalable distributed processing

### Platform Architecture

-   Hands-on expertise with Unity Catalog and Databricks workspace architecture
-   Experience designing governance frameworks, security models, RBAC, and cluster policies
-   Knowledge of enterprise-grade platform administration and governance controls

### Data Warehousing

-   Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture and Lakehouse concepts
-   Experience with Databricks SQL and dimensional data modeling
-   Expertise in enterprise data modeling and warehouse modernization

### Cloud Infrastructure

-   Strong fundamentals in AWS, Azure, or GCP
-   Understanding of networking, IAM, storage services, compute services, and cloud security architecture
-   Experience designing scalable and secure cloud-native solutions

### Cloud Integration

-   Experience integrating with SAP systems and enterprise applications
-   Knowledge of REST APIs, Kafka/Event Streaming, and Snowflake connectivity
-   Experience integrating analytics platforms like Power BI and Tableau

### Data Migration

-   Experience in legacy DWH modernization and Hadoop migration projects
-   Expertise in ETL migration, CDC patterns, and migration frameworks
-   Ability to define migration strategies and execution roadmaps

### CI/CD & DevOps

-   Experience with Git, Terraform, Databricks Asset Bundles
-   Hands-on exposure to Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
-   Strong understanding of deployment automation and DevOps practices

### Latest Technologies

-   Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Vector Databases, and RAG architectures
-   Knowledge of Mosaic AI and Lakehouse AI capabilities
-   Understanding of enterprise AI adoption patterns and modern AI frameworks

### Consulting & Leadership Skills

-   Conduct discovery workshops and solution assessment sessions
-   Strong experience in solution architecture documentation and estimation models
-   Excellent client communication and executive presentation skills
-   Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and drive strategic discussions

### Preferred Qualifications

-   Experience working in enterprise consulting or global delivery environments
-   Databricks and cloud certifications are highly preferred
-   Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
