**Duration**: 1 year

**What You'll Do**

As a DBA, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, performance, and security of enterprise Oracle database environments. You will partner with application, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure highly available, secure, and optimized database solutions.

**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**

-   Manage day-to-day Oracle database operations and support activities
-   Maintain database schemas, security standards, and database objects
-   Monitor and maintain Oracle database environments across development, test, and production systems
-   Support application teams with deployments, releases, upgrades, and troubleshooting
-   Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks, deadlocks, locking issues, waits, and contention events
-   Perform database performance tuning using AWR and ADDM reports
-   Design and maintain enterprise backup and recovery strategies utilizing RMAN
-   Configure, administer, and test Oracle Data Guard environments, including automated switchovers and failovers using Data Guard Broker
-   Install, configure, and support Oracle GoldenGate Extract and Replicat processes
-   Execute complex database migrations, including Exadata and on-premises-to-cloud migrations
-   Perform quarterly Exadata patching activities across database, Grid Infrastructure, storage cells, networking components, and firmware
-   Manage user access, capacity planning, schema refreshes, and data movement activities utilizing Oracle Data Pump
-   Develop automation scripts for backups, monitoring, alerts, maintenance tasks, and administrative processes
-   Maintain OEM monitoring and alerting configurations
-   Mentor team members and promote database administration best practices

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
-   5–7+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
-   Proven experience executing complex Oracle database migrations
-   Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 11g, 12c, and 19c
-   Strong experience configuring and supporting Oracle Data Guard environments
-   Experience implementing automated switchovers and failovers through Data Guard Broker
-   Oracle GoldenGate installation, configuration, and administration experience
-   Expertise in RMAN backup and recovery architecture design
-   Experience planning and executing full-stack Exadata patching activities
-   Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills
-   Experience developing stored procedures, packages, triggers, views, and database utilities
-   Strong logical and physical database design/modeling experience
-   Experience troubleshooting database locking, deadlocks, waits, and performance issues
-   Experience tuning inefficient SQL queries
-   Experience utilizing AWR and ADDM reports for performance analysis
-   Experience administering multiple Oracle database environments simultaneously
-   Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
-   Experience with Oracle Data Pump utilities
-   Experience developing shell or batch scripts for automation
-   Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

-   Ability to quickly adapt to complex technical environments
-   Strong relationship management skills
-   Experience mentoring developers and technical teams
