**We are looking for a Junior Buyer in our Poeldijk office, Netherlands.**

Our Junior Sourcing Manager will support the sourcing team in the day-to-day management of product categories and supplier relationships across Europe. The role will focus on supporting Sourcing activities, maintaining supplier partnerships, monitoring market trends, and assisting with commercial opportunities to support business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within fresh produce sourcing and Sourcing in a fast-paced international environment.

Responsibilities include:

-   Support daily sourcing and procurement activities to ensure smooth operational performance
-   Monitor stock levels and assist with purchase orders to maintain product availability
-   Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across Europe
-   Support supplier onboarding and ensure accurate supplier records and documentation
-   Assist with seasonal sourcing programmes and supply planning activities
-   Support pricing discussions, market monitoring, and maintenance of commercial records
-   Work closely with supply chain, commercial, technical, and operations teams to resolve issues
-   Monitor fresh produce market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity to support sourcing decisions
-   Identify opportunities for supplier growth, new products, and continuous improvement initiatives
-   Maintain accurate sourcing system updates, reporting, and compliance with company procedures

## Requirements

-   Interest in Sourcing, sourcing, or fresh produce trading environments
-   Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
-   Confident communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships
-   Commercial awareness and willingness to learn negotiation and sourcing principles
-   Proactive mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-   Good numerical and analytical capability
