## Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a **Housing Customer Service Apprentice** to join Together Housing and begin an exciting career in social housing.

As a **Housing Customer Service Apprentice**, you'll complete a **Level 3 Service in Housing Apprenticeship** while gaining valuable hands-on experience across a range of teams within Together Housing. You'll begin your journey in our Customer Service Centre, learning how to deliver outstanding service through telephone, email and digital channels, before spending time with other departments to gain a broad understanding of the housing sector.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll receive full training, mentoring and coaching to help you build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for a successful career with Together Housing.

## Requirements

### _**Outline of key responsibilities...**_

-   Deliver excellent customer service across a variety of communication channels, including telephone, email and digital platforms.
-   Support customers with a wide range of enquiries while learning from experienced colleagues and Team Leaders.
-   Develop the skills to resolve customer enquiries at the first point of contact wherever possible.
-   Learn how to use customer management systems accurately and efficiently.
-   Escalate enquiries appropriately where specialist support is required.
-   Successfully complete the **Level 3 Service in Housing Apprenticeship**, attending all workshops, learning sessions and assessments.
-   Complete off-the-job learning and apply your new knowledge within your day-to-day role.
-   Gain valuable experience through planned placements across a variety of teams, including Repairs & Maintenance, Neighbourhood Services, Housing Management, Homeownership, Property Services, Income & Financial Inclusion and Business Improvement.
-   Build positive working relationships with colleagues across the organisation and contribute positively as part of the wider team.
-   Represent Together Housing professionally while following company policies, Health & Safety requirements, GDPR and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion principles.
-   Take every opportunity to develop your skills, ask questions and build your confidence throughout your apprenticeship.

### _**We are looking for someone who has...**_

-   A genuine passion for helping people and delivering excellent customer service.
-   A positive attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
-   Excellent communication skills and the confidence to speak with people from a variety of backgrounds.
-   The ability to work well as part of a team while taking responsibility for your own learning.
-   Good organisational and time management skills.
-   Confidence using technology and a willingness to learn new systems.
-   Curiosity, resilience and a proactive approach to learning new skills.
-   **GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 (C) or above, or a willingness to achieve these as part of the apprenticeship if required.**
-   Eligibility to undertake a Level 3 Apprenticeship.
-   A flexible approach to learning, including travelling to different Together Housing locations and attending apprenticeship learning sessions where required.
-   A commitment to completing the full apprenticeship programme and building a long-term career with Together Housing.

**Please note this role is offered on a 20-month fixed-term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship programme.**

-   **Salary: 1st Year = £15,392.00. 2nd Year onwards = minimum wage for age range. PLEASE be aware that this is regardless of age.**
