**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**

-   **Patient Assessment:** Conduct comprehensive physical and neurological examinations to evaluate patient function, mobility, and pain levels.
-   **Treatment Planning:** Develop and implement individualized, non-surgical rehabilitation and pain management plans tailored to the patient's specific recovery goals.
-   **Multidisciplinary Leadership:** Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nursing staff to coordinate holistic care.
-   **Procedures:** Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, such as joint injections, trigger point injections, or electromyography (EMG) to evaluate nerve and muscle function).
-   **Patient Education:** Educate patients and their families about the recovery process, injury prevention, and long-term condition management.
-   **Documentation:** Maintain accurate and timely medical records and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare and hospital standards.

## Requirements

-   MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
-   Active and unrestricted Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
-   Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Physiatry.
-   Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
