## Description

**Job Title:** Urology Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA)

**Position Summary:**  
We are seeking a skilled Urology Advanced Practice Professional (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide comprehensive care for patients with urologic conditions. The APP will work collaboratively with urologists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in outpatient and inpatient settings, including evaluation, treatment, and follow-up management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with urologic conditions, including urinary tract disorders, kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, incontinence, and urologic cancers.
-   Conduct patient histories and physical examinations, review diagnostic studies, and develop care plans in collaboration with urologists.
-   Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up visits.
-   Perform procedures within scope of practice, such as catheter management, bladder instillations, cystoscopy assistance, and office-based procedures.
-   Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests in accordance with scope of practice and clinical protocols.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, oncology, radiology, and primary care.
-   Document patient encounters accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
-   Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

**Qualifications:**

-   Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
-   Active NP or PA licensure in the state of employment.
-   National certification as an NP or PA.
-   Prior experience in urology or a surgical specialty preferred.
-   Strong clinical assessment, procedural, and communication skills.
