## Description

**We are** seeking an experienced **Maintenance Mechanical Engineer** to support maintenance activities within an industrial/petrochemical environment.

### Position Overview

The Maintenance Mechanical Engineer will provide **technical expertise in troubleshooting equipment failures, repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment reliability**, while supporting maintenance teams, work packages, and plant operations.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Act as a technical expert for **equipment failures, repairs, and troubleshooting**.
-   Provide engineering support for plant issues affecting production.
-   Evaluate defective equipment and recommend appropriate **repair and corrective actions**.
-   Review repair requirements, including **clearances, tolerances, materials of construction, welding procedures**, and related technical requirements.
-   Develop and maintain appropriate **repair techniques and equipment-specific maintenance procedures**.
-   Support the review and identification of **spare parts** required for existing equipment.
-   Contribute to **maintenance strategies and maintenance operating discipline**.
-   Provide engineering input to projects, particularly regarding **equipment maintainability**.
-   Support the development of **maintenance budgets** and maintenance plans.
-   Provide engineering input to **work packages and work orders**, particularly for critical equipment.
-   Support maintenance teams in troubleshooting and resolving equipment-related issues.
-   Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable **EH&S, quality, and safety requirements**.
-   Work closely with maintenance, operations, engineering, and other relevant teams to maintain reliable plant operation.

## Requirements

Bachelor's degree in **Mechanical, Instrument, or Electrical Engineering**.

Strong experience in **mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting** within an industrial environment.

Proven experience dealing with **equipment failures, repairs, and corrective actions**.

Experience with **maintenance planning, strategies, work orders, and work packages**.

Knowledge of equipment **repair requirements, tolerances, clearances, materials, and maintenance procedures**.

Experience supporting **critical equipment maintenance and reliability**.

Ability to provide technical guidance and engineering support to maintenance teams.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in **Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or other process industries** is preferred.

The ideal candidate should be a **hands-on mechanical maintenance professional** with strong troubleshooting capability and experience supporting plant maintenance, rather than someone focused purely on design or project engineering.
