**Occupational Therapist (OT)**

**Oklahoma City • Full-Time • 2026–2027 School Year  
Elementary-Highschool | On-site | Competitive Pay**

TheraPeds Partners is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026–2027 school year in Oklahoma City, OK.

This is a full-time opportunity with guaranteed hours, designated documentation and planning time, a manageable caseload, and support from both TheraPeds and the school district.

The Role

You'll help students develop the functional skills they need to access their education, participate in school routines, and build greater independence.

-   Provide individual and small-group occupational therapy services
-   Develop and implement IEP goals and intervention plans
-   Address fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-motor, self-care, regulation, and functional school skills
-   Conduct OT evaluations and reevaluations
-   Interpret assessment results and develop recommendations
-   Collect data and monitor student progress
-   Complete therapy documentation, evaluation reports, and progress reports
-   Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings
-   Consult with teachers and school teams regarding accommodations, adaptations, equipment, and classroom strategies
-   Collaborate with families, educators, special education staff, and related-service providers

## Requirements

### Qualifications

We're looking for an OT who has:

-   Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
-   Current NBCOT certification
-   Active or eligible for a New Hampshire Occupational Therapist licensure
-   Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
-   Knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, eligibility, and school-based OT services
-   Strong understanding of child development, fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-motor, and functional participation skills
-   Strong communication and collaboration skills
-   Good organization and time-management skills
-   Comfort with technology and documentation
-   Ability to complete required background clearances

**Physical Requirements**

School-based Occupational Therapy is active and hands-on. The Occupational Therapist must be able to safely participate with students in a variety of school environments and activities.

Physical responsibilities may include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, transitioning to and from the floor, and lifting or assisting with students, materials, or therapeutic equipment as appropriate to the position.

All responsibilities will be performed in accordance with assigned duties, district safety requirements, and applicable accommodations.
