## Description

If your first instinct when doing something manually is “this shouldn’t be manual” — keep reading.

**About the Company**

We’re a family-owned business with all-local Philippines leadership and team. We’ve been 100% work-from-home since day one — not a pandemic pivot. We’ve grown by valuing our people, building long-term relationships, and doing great work for great clients.

**The Role**

You’re not here to maintain spreadsheets. You’re here to question why the spreadsheet exists — and build the system that makes it unnecessary.

We’re looking for a Business Automation Analyst who sees manual work as a problem to be solved, not a process to be managed. You’ll analyze how work gets done across the business, identify what’s slow, repetitive, or error-prone, and build the systems that fix it permanently. Python, advanced Excel, AI-powered workflows, and smart automation tools are your toolkit. The outcome is a business that runs faster, reports more accurately, and depends less on manual effort over time.

**The Mindset We’re Looking For**

The best analysts we’ve worked with share a few traits:

- They see a manual process and immediately ask: “Why is someone doing this by hand — and what would it take to make sure no one ever has to again?”
- They take ownership. From the moment a process improvement is theirs, it’s theirs until it’s built, documented, and running without them.
- They think upstream. Instead of asking “how do I make this faster?” they ask “why does this exist, and should it?”
- They communicate clearly. Progress, blockers, and outcomes are shared openly — before being asked for.
- They keep learning. Twelve months from now, they know more than they do today — without anyone telling them to.

**Who Thrives Here**

People who are operationally sharp, intellectually curious, and genuinely excited by the idea of making a business run better.

You don’t need someone to hand you a list of things to automate — you find them yourself. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful with tools, and you care more about outcomes than staying in your lane.

We’re a growing MSP, which means not every process is optimized and not every workflow is documented yet. For the right person, that’s not a gap — it’s the whole point.
**
This Role Is Not for You If:**

- You need a detailed task list to know what to work on
- You build something once and consider it done
- You document only when asked
- You’re more comfortable maintaining existing systems than questioning why they exist
- Your outside commitments regularly affect your availability and focus
- You’re looking for predictable, low-ambiguity work with clear daily instructions

There’s no judgment in that list — it’s just not the environment. We’d rather be honest now than waste each other’s time.

### Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

You’ll walk into a business that has real operational inefficiencies — manual reports, repetitive data work, processes that exist because “that’s how we’ve always done it.” Your job is to find them, understand them, and systematically eliminate them.

That looks like:

- Mapping workflows that rely on human hands and asking which ones shouldn’t — then building the automations that replace them
- Building Python scripts, data pipelines, and AI-powered workflows that turn hours of manual work into something that runs itself
- Creating Excel models and dashboards that give leadership accurate, real-time visibility — not end-of-week summaries compiled by hand
- Digging into messy, multi-source datasets and producing clean, reliable outputs that people actually trust
- Documenting everything you build so clearly that someone else could maintain it, improve it, or build on top of it — without asking you a single question
- Sitting with teams, understanding how they actually work, and translating that into automation solutions that fit the way they operate — not the other way around
- Continuously looking for the next thing to improve, because the work is never finished — it just gets better

## Requirements

- Strong Python programming skills — you don’t just write scripts that work, you write scripts that others can read, maintain, and build on
- Advanced Excel expertise (required) — Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards, data validation; you treat Excel as a serious tool, not a last resort
- Solid experience with SQL and database querying — you can get to the data you need without waiting for someone else to pull it
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and workflow automation platforms — you’ve actually built things with them, not just read about them
- Experience with Zapier, Make, n8n, Power Automate, or similar tools — you know when to code and when not to
- Strong diagnostic skills — you find the root cause of an operational problem, not just the most obvious fix
- Natural systems thinker — you look at a process and immediately see how it should be redesigned, not just optimized
- Self-directed once you understand the environment — but you ask smart questions early to get there
- Honest communicator — you say what’s happening clearly and on time, even when the update isn’t good news
- Long-term mindset — you want to build something, not just fill a role

**Nice to Have**

- API integration experience
- VBA or Excel macros
- Background in MSP, IT services, or operations-heavy environments

**How We Work**

We trust our people to do great work and we give them the space to do it.

There’s real work to be done — the business depends on it — but we understand that doing meaningful work means making decisions, and sometimes those decisions won’t be right on the first try. That’s how we find the right path. We don’t punish thoughtful mistakes. We learn from them and move forward.

We’re a growing MSP, so not every system is perfect yet and not every process is documented. That’s part of why we need someone like you — to help us build the automations, processes, and systems that make us better as we grow.
