## Description

**Patient Coordinator | Outpatient | Full-time | Riverview, FL**

As a Patient Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting patients and families throughout their care experience while helping the clinic run smoothly.

**Your Role:**

-   Welcome patients and create a positive, friendly first impression

-   Schedule appointments and help manage daily clinic flow

-   Answer patient questions by phone and in person

-   Maintain accurate patient records and protect patient confidentiality

-   Communicate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care

-   Assist with patient copays and balances

-   Obtain Plans of Care from referring physicians when needed

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent

-   Previous healthcare or medical office experience preferred

-   Strong communication and customer service skills

-   Organized with strong attention to detail

-   Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus

-   Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment
