## Description

Vivino is the world's largest online wine marketplace and most downloaded wine app, trusted by over 70 million users to discover and purchase the right wine. Headquartered in Copenhagen and San Francisco, with teams across Europe, the US, and Asia-Pacific, Vivino combines data, community input, and advanced technologies like machine learning to personalize the wine experience. The project focuses on enhancing Vivino's backend services and APIs within a cross-functional product development team. The tech stack includes Go and SQL, and the work culture emphasizes creativity, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.

## Requirements

1\. Technical Skills  
\- At least 1 year of experience in designing and implementing APIs (preferably in Go or similar technologies)  
\- Ability and willingness to learn Go  
\- At least 1 year of experience in composing common SQL queries

### Responsibilities:

\- Designing and implementing backend services and APIs, using Go, to power core product functionalities.  
\- Contributing to cross-functional product development teams, collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.  
\- Maintaining platform health, ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability of backend services.  
\- Communicating proactively and transparently, keeping teammates informed throughout every stage of your work and seeking alignment when needed.  
\- Participating in goal setting and team planning, helping define group objectives and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
