**ABOUT THE ROLE**

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its general, laparoscopic and

emergency surgical services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant General Surgeon to join its growing clinical

team. The role is designed for internationally trained clinicians seeking career advancement, strong clinical exposure,

patient population. This opportunity is suitable for candidates who can combine advanced clinical expertise with

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by

experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Assess and manage elective and emergency general surgery patients.

• Perform open and laparoscopic procedures according to specialty scope and facility privileges.

• Provide perioperative care, complication management, ward rounds and outpatient follow-up.

• Collaborate with anaesthesia, ICU, radiology, gastroenterology, oncology and emergency teams.

• Contribute to surgical pathways, theatre efficiency, infection prevention and patient safety programs.

• Maintain accurate consent, operative notes, discharge summaries and clinical documentation.

## Requirements

• American Board of Surgery

• UK CCT / FRCS General Surgery

• European Board / national specialist certification

• Royal College Certification (Canada)

• Australian FRACS

• Arab Board

• MS / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
