### Strategic Kids is Hiring an Inclusion Aide!

**Location:** San Diego, CA  
**Pay Rate:** $22 - $24 per hour  
**Employment Type:** Part-Time

**Schedule:**

-   Minimum 3 days availability per week, Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (4–6 hours per shift)

### Overview

We’re hiring part-time Special Education Inclusion Aides to support K–5 students with disabilities in in Central San Diego and Solana Beach area. providing tailored support to ensure their academic, social, and emotional growth. You’ll work closely with staff and families to foster inclusion, encourage positive behavior, and help students thrive in an after-school program setting.

### Responsibilities

-   Provide individualized support to 1–3 students with special education needs.
-   Ensure student safety and engagement in program activities.
-   Assist with assignments, study skills, and learning tools.
-   Use positive reinforcement and structured behavior management.
-   Collaborate with staff and families to implement student support plans.

## Requirements

### Must Have Requirements

-   At least 3 months of experience working with children with special needs
-   Strong communication, patience, and positive reinforcement skills.
-   Ability to adapt to varying student needs and maintain composure under pressure.
-   High school diploma or equivalent (education students encouraged to apply).
-   CPR/First Aid certification (provided if needed).
-   **Must be 18 years or older**

### Nice to Have

-   Students pursuing Education / Child development / Psychology coursework or degrees encouraged to apply
-   Experience in after-school programs, summer camps, tutoring, or youth mentoring
-   Bilingual communication skills
