Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we are looking for a highly skilled and passionate **R&D Engineer** to join our **R&D Lithium recycling team** based in Xanthi, Greece. This role is critical for the development of our recycling portfolio as you will be involved in engineering design, laboratory research and process optimization. You will have the chance to greatly impact the recycling technology and contribute to its future industrialization.

**Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:**

-   Design and coordination of lab scale and pilot line lithium recycling operations
-   Coordinate and provide functional guidance to the team of operators
-   Collect and process raw data for the preparation of detailed technical reports
-   Liaise lab scale optimization results to pilot scale 
-   Further fine-tune recycling flow-sheet by optimization both in lab and pilot scale
-   Contribute to the creation of new or existing recycling technologies

## Requirements

-   Degree in chemical or metallurgical engineering
-   Relevant experience in metallurgical operations (i.e. thermomechanical treatment, upgrading and hydrometallurgy) and analyses procedures
-   Previous experience in R&D roles will be considered a plus (~2 years)
-   Capable to execute tasks in with high degree of autonomy
-   Strong multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving skills 
-   Fluency in English (verbal and written)
