## Description

Location: 268 Al Wasl Rd, Jumeirah 1, Dubai, UAE and/or Grove Mall @ Al Barsha South, Dubai, UAE

We are looking for a passionate GP and/or Family Medicine Specialist to perform a Diabetes Educator role in our facility that treats diabetes and other endocrine disorders.

## Requirements

-   Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized medical school.
-   Board certification or equivalent qualification in General Practice/Family Medicine.
-   Fellowship or additional training in Diabetology and Endocrinology from a reputable institution (preferred).
-   Valid medical license (DHA) to practice as a General Practitioner in Dubai, UAE.
-   **Proven experience working as a General Practitioner with a focus on Diabetology and/or Endocrinology in a clinical setting.**
-   **Strong clinical skills and knowledge in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of diabetes and/or endocrine disorders.**
-   **Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care skills.**
-   Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
-   Commitment to continuous professional development, lifelong learning, and quality improvement.
-   Compassion, empathy, and dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
-   **Function as a Diabetes Educator.**
-   **Pump training certificate.**
-   **Experience in pumps: installing, monitoring, adjusting.**
-   **Experience in CGMs: (e.g. Freestyle, Dexcom, Medtronic.**
-   **Expertise and experience in insulin titration.**
-   **Experience in oral diabetic medication.**
-   **Experience in carb counting.**
-   **Dealing with type 1 diabetes: calculating ICR and adjusting insulin doses.**
-   **Pediatric experience/coverage.**
