## Description

Catalyst Metals owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The Plutonic Gold Mine produces 85koz of gold annually. The Company also holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, the Company plans to bring three new mining areas at Plutonic into production.

The Accountant is responsible for supporting the business' current and future growth while working very closely with other team members and under the direct supervision of an experienced senior. Located in our corporate office at 150 St Georges Terrace, Perth, this full time role is a key finance role supporting the broader finance team and business.

**Key responsibilities in this role will include:**

o    Assist with the preparation of Business Activity Statements

o    Assist in the preparation of tax and other statutory returns

o    Assist with the preparation of bank reconciliations

o    Assist with month-end processes and the publication of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts compliant with accounting standards

o    Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing insightful analysis to support decision making

o    Reconciliation of sub-ledgers to general ledger accounts. Maintain the integrity of financial records

o    Assist in the preparation of management accounts and reports

o    Working with the Accounts Payable ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoice information

o    Management of corporate credit cards

o    Complete general ledger reconciliations

o    Manage all PPSRs for the company

o    Managing entity data migration between ERP systems

o    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency

o    Support the month-end process, to ensure a smooth and timely completion

## Requirements

o    Tertiary qualification in Accounting

o    3+ years accounting experience in a commercial environment.

o    Joint venture accounting experience.

o    Highly skilled in Pronto, Redmap, EPM and Accurri.

o    Experience working in the mining and/or resource sector.
