**Position Overview:**  
The Personal Injury Paralegal will play a crucial role in assisting our legal team by managing case files, preparing legal documents, and facilitating communication between clients and attorneys. Your expertise and organizational skills will help ensure a thorough and efficient case process for our clients who are navigating challenging moments in their lives.

## Requirements

### **Key Responsibilities:**

-   **Document Management:** Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and client correspondence.
-   **Case File Organization:** Maintain and manage active case files to ensure all necessary documentation is available for attorneys and clients.
-   **Discovery and Evidence:** Assist attorneys in the discovery process, including gathering evidence, summarizing documents, and organizing case-related materials.
-   **Client Interaction:** Serve as a liaison between clients and attorneys, providing case updates and answering client inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
-   **Calendar Management:** Track important deadlines and manage the legal calendar for hearings, depositions, and administrative tasks.
-   **Trial Preparation:** Assist in preparing exhibits and trial materials, ensuring everything is organized and ready prior to court appearances.
-   **Legal Research:** Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries or reports as needed by attorneys.

### **Qualifications:**

-   **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred; paralegal certification is a plus.
-   **Experience:** At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm is strongly preferred.
-   **Skills:** Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively on multiple assignments at once.
-   **Communication:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
-   **Technical Proficiency:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.
-   **Team-Oriented:** Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, showing a strong commitment to client service.
