Most finance roles at this level are about maintaining. This one is about _building._ You'll be the person who puts structure where there's momentum — the experienced hand in the room who makes sure the business is growing _right_, not just growing fast. You'll report directly to the CEO, work closely with a Head of Finance counterpart in Asia, and lead a team of three accountants who need a great mentor as much as they need a great manager.

**What you'll own**

-   **Accounting operations end to end:** books, local cash management, reporting, compliance, and local regulatory requirements — all clean, all current, all audit-ready at any given moment
-   **Team leadership:** manage and grow a team of three accountants; be the person who raises their game
-   **Financial truth:** build and maintain sources of truth for revenue, costs, and all key metrics — so leadership always knows exactly where the business stands
-   **Scalable processes:** design the finance infrastructure that can keep up as the company keeps opening doors

**What success looks like**

In six months, the numbers are clean and everyone knows it. Reports are reliable. The team is stronger. And when an auditor walks in, you're ready — not scrambling.

## Requirements

**Who they're looking for**

-   Senior finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals
-   Someone who has worked in startups, lean teams, or low-bureaucracy environments — you know how to build, not just maintain
-   A natural mentor who leads by doing and raises the people around them
-   Comfortable reporting directly to a founder/CEO and operating with autonomy
-   Mexico City-based
