**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The MEP Engineer will design and coordinate the building systems that support reliable, high-density technical environments. Depending on discipline, the role may focus on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or integrated MEP systems while working closely with architecture, structural, controls, energy, commissioning, and construction teams.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

-   Develop MEP system concepts, calculations, equipment selections, layouts, specifications, and construction documents
-   Evaluate capacity, redundancy, maintainability, efficiency, and future expansion requirements
-   Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire-protection, and life-safety interfaces
-   Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, value analysis, and interdisciplinary coordination
-   Review submittals, answer RFIs, perform site observations, and support testing and commissioning
-   Work with utilities, equipment manufacturers, contractors, and owner teams to resolve technical issues
-   Apply current codes, standards, and project-specific reliability criteria
-   Prepare clear technical reports and communicate design decisions to project stakeholders

### REQUIREMENTS

-   Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline
-   5+ years of MEP design experience for complex buildings or industrial facilities
-   Mission-critical, data center, healthcare, laboratory, or advanced manufacturing experience preferred
-   Proficiency in Revit and applicable analysis or calculation software
-   Working knowledge of equipment selection, controls, energy use, and construction-phase services
-   EIT required; Professional Engineer license preferred or the ability to obtain one
-   Strong interdisciplinary coordination and communication skills
