**About the Team**

The Procurement team plays a critical role in enabling Amartha’s business operations by ensuring that goods and services are sourced efficiently, responsibly, and in line with the company’s strategic priorities. The team partners closely with business units, Finance, Legal, Risk, and other key stakeholders to deliver sustainable cost efficiencies, maintain strong supplier relationships, and uphold sound procurement governance.

**About the Role**

As the Senior Lead of Procurement, you will lead the Procurement team and serve as the company’s senior procurement partner. This role is equivalent to a Senior Manager position and is responsible for strengthening procurement strategy, operational excellence, governance, and team capability across the organization.

**Responsibilities**

-   Lead and develop the Procurement team, including setting priorities, allocating resources, managing performance, and building team capabilities
-   Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives, operational requirements, and financial targets
-   Oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including demand planning, strategic sourcing, tendering, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, purchasing, and supplier performance management
-   Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, provide procurement guidance, and ensure timely delivery of business needs
-   Lead negotiations for strategic and high-value purchases to achieve the best commercial outcomes while maintaining quality, service, and risk standards
-   Identify and deliver sustainable cost-saving and cost-avoidance initiatives, supported by clear targets, tracking, and reporting
-   Establish and continuously improve procurement policies, processes, controls, service-level standards, and approval mechanisms
-   Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, applicable regulations, audit requirements, and ethical sourcing principles
-   Build and maintain a strong supplier ecosystem, including supplier evaluation, performance reviews, risk monitoring, and relationship management
-   Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, Information Security, and other control functions to manage commercial, contractual, operational, and third-party risks
-   Drive procurement process improvements through standardization, automation, data analysis, and effective use of procurement systems
-   Prepare procurement performance reports and provide management with insights on spending, savings, supplier performance, risks, and improvement opportunities
-   Handle escalations and make sound decisions on complex or sensitive procurement

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or another relevant field. A master’s degree or professional procurement certification is an advantage
-   At least 8–12 years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or vendor management, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
-   Proven experience leading a procurement function or a sizeable procurement team in a fast-paced and complex organization
-   Strong track record in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiation, contract management, cost optimization, and supplier performance management
-   Solid understanding of procurement governance, internal controls, third-party risk management, and audit requirements
-   Strong business acumen with the ability to balance commercial objectives, operational needs, service quality, and risk considerations
-   Excellent leadership and people-management skills, with demonstrated experience developing high-performing teams
-   Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
-   Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to translate procurement data into meaningful insights and recommendations
-   Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
-   High level of integrity, ownership, and accountability
-   Experience in financial services, technology, or another highly regulated industry is preferred
-   Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
