## Description

JOB SUMMARY:  
Manage and assist the Housekeeping and Facilities Maintenance teams in the completion of the day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance of the building/facility, equipment and machinery including HVAC, building lighting systems, grounds keeping, security and overall facility appearance. Manage the various building services vendors.  
  
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

50% Coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping and facilities maintenance teams towards maintaning world class 24 hour facilities. Manage all infrastructure equipment to provide 100% uptime as well as supporting the production lines, as requested, including, but not limited to:  maintain cleanliness and order throughout the facility; order chemicals, water treatment, maintenance supplies and parts for equipment; control and monitor compressed air and plant climate control systems; and support other departments as necessary for smooth operations.

25% Arrange for and oversee, appropriate third-party contractor support, as needed including, but not limited to hiring out items to be fabricated.

10% Develop and maintain Preventive Maintenance Program for applicable facility equipment.  Perform regular plant walk-through and evaluation in order to observe and document any damage to equipment, building structure, etc

10% Work with Housekeeping, Facilities Maintenance team and others to effectively identify and address facilities improvement opportunities.

5% Assist Management team (and others) in planning for growth requirements for facility and equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day functions of the facilities teams and supervise any sub-contractors hired for specific projects.  Plan, assign and check work of sub-contractors.  Instruct and train in methods.

## Requirements

Minimum Qualification Standards: • High school diploma or GED required and 5 years of experience in the fields of carpentry, basic electricity, plumbing, HVAC, welding, rigging and metalworking. • Equivalent previous work experience directly related to this position is not a requirement but is highly desirable. • Must have reliable independent transportation as daily travel between multiple facilities is required. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Contribute to the overall success of the company by performing all assigned duties in a professional, timely, and accurate manner.  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities. • Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks. • Ability to interface with all types of mechanical and construction contractors. • Knowledgeable in all phases of construction and building maintenance. • Promote the Quality Improvement Process.
