## Description

**Psychiatrist**

**Role Overview**  
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (BC/BE) Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and crisis intervention for a diverse patient population. You will collaborate closely with social workers, therapists, and primary care providers to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   **Clinical Assessment**: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and mental status examinations.
-   **Treatment Planning**: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized pharmacological and therapeutic treatment plans for acute and chronic mental health conditions.
-   **Collaborative Care**: Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide consultations to primary care and specialty medical staff.
-   **Patient Advocacy**: Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term wellness strategies.
-   **Documentation**: Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with federal and state regulations.
-   **Crisis Management**: Provide emergency psychiatric assessments and intervention as needed within the clinical or hospital setting.

**Minimum Qualifications**

-   **Education**: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
-   **Training**: Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Psychiatry.
-   **Licensure**: Must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted State Medical License and DEA registration.
-   **Certification**: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Psychiatry by the ABPN or an equivalent board.

**Preferred Skills**

-   Experience with \[specific population, e.g., Child & Adolescent, Geriatric, or Substance Use Disorders\].
-   Proficiency in \[specific Electronic Health Record system, e.g., Epic, Athena\].
-   Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative, team-based care.
