Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Manufacturing & Logistics Operator to join our Townsville team.

This is a hands-on, varied role that combines manufacturing, forklift operation, warehouse duties, and logistics support. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where every day is different, we'd love to hear from you.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the manufacture and distribution of steel building products, ensuring customers receive quality products safely and on time.

Working across both the factory and warehouse, you'll support production, load and unload trucks, operate machinery, and assist with the efficient movement of products throughout the site.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials and finished products
-   Load, unload, and secure steel products for transport
-   Operate manufacturing machinery to produce roofing and steel building products
-   Conduct daily equipment inspections and pre-start checks
-   Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
-   Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
-   Provide excellent customer service to customers collecting orders
-   Comply with all workplace safety, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and load restraint requirements
-   Assist with general warehouse and production duties as required

**About You**

-   Current Forklift Licence (essential)
-   Current Australian Driver's Licence
-   Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or building products is highly regarded
-   Basic computer skills
-   Strong commitment to workplace safety
-   Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a positive attitude
-   Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on environment
-   Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
-   Knowledge of the building or steel industry is desirable but not essential
