## Description

Responsibilities:

\-Administer and maintain VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.

\-Proactively monitor system performance and identify potential issues.

\-Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patching, upgrades, and security hardening.

\-Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization-related issues.

\-Implement and manage VMware HA and DRS clusters for high availability and resource optimization.

\-Manage vSAN clusters, including provisioning storage, configuring storage policies, and monitoring performance.

\-Utilize virtualization migration tools for seamless VM migrations.

\-Implement and manage Veeam backup and recovery solutions, including failover testing and disaster recovery planning.

\-Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of the virtual infrastructure.

\-Document system configurations and procedures.

## Requirements

2-5 years of experience as a VMware System Administrator.

\-Strong understanding of VMware vSphere architecture and components.

\-Hands-on experience with ESXi, vCenter Server, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and DRS.

\-Experience with vSAN cluster management and configuration.

\-Proficiency in using virtualization migration tools.

\-Experience with Veeam backup and recovery solutions, including failover and disaster recovery.

Knowledge with Nutanix administration.

Knowledge of VxRail infrastructure.

VMware certifications (e.g., VCP)
