## Description

Johnson Service Company, a division of Midlands Contracting, Inc., is seeking a CDL Driver/Operator (Class A or B) to join our growing construction team. This position is based throughout Eastern Nebraska, and you can live anywhere in the region. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, dependability, and a willingness to travel.

## Requirements

-   $75,000 per year and up depending on experience
-   Assistance obtaining a CDL will be provided for the right candidate
-   50 or more hours per week (no weekend work)
-   Most projects require being out of town Monday-Friday (home on weekends)
-   Transportation provided when working out of town
-   Paid travel time
-   Hotel paid for by the company
-   Nightly per diem for meals when working out of town
-   Year-round employment (no winter layoffs)

**Requirements**

-   Class A or B CDL is required (or ability and desire to obtain a CDL).
-   An excellent driving record is required.
-   Driving and operation of various trucks including boiler truck and combo vac/jetting truck. Experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
-   Must be mechanically inclined and able to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
-   Physical labor is part of each day with this position.
-   Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually or as a team when carrying loads heavier than 50 pounds.
-   Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
-   Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl throughout each day.
-   Willingness to abide by all safety rules. Safety training will be provided on the job and via formal training.
-   Ability to pass a pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen.
-   Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
