## Description

AHOY is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our dynamic team in creating high-quality, user-centric mobile applications. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative Android applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
-   Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user requirements into functional applications.
-   Implement complex features and ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
-   Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
-   Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in Android development.

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
-   5+ years of experience in Android application development.
-   Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java programming languages.
-   Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
-   Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries.
-   Solid understanding of Android design principles, patterns, and best practices.
-   Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
-   Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
