**Job Summary**

The Cashier & Customer Sales Associate is a customer-focused role responsible for handling transactions and delivering excellent sales and service. This position combines front-end cashier duties with customer assistance and product sales, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Cashier & Transactions**

-   Process customer purchases (cash, credit/debit, digital payments) accurately
-   Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies
-   Using the POS system to handle transactions
-   Open and close registers as required

**Customer Sales & Service**

-   Greet customers and provide a high level of customer service
-   Assist customers with product selection and recommendations
-   Upsell and promote products when appropriate
-   Answer questions regarding pricing, availability, and product use
-   Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
-   Build and maintain strong customer relationships

**Store Support**

-   Restock shelves and ensure products are organized and accessible
-   Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area
-   Coordinate with warehouse staff to check product availability
-   Assist with light product handling or order preparation when needed

## Requirements

**Qualifications**

-   High school diploma or equivalent
-   Tobacco experience
-   Previous cashier or retail sales experience preferred
-   Strong communication and customer service skills
-   Basic math and computer skills
-   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-   Team-oriented with a positive attitude
