## Description

We are looking for a General Science Teacher for an international school in Beijing. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 school year starting in August 2026.

About the school

This is an international school located in Haidian. The school offers a combination of the national curriculum and US Common core to its students in elementary and middle school, and US Common core, AP, IGCSE and A-Level in high school. 

Job responsibilities

-   Teach the subject of general science to middle school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
-   Lead or assist in conducting extra-curricular clubs or Enrichment programs up to 3 hours and or teams/academic classes/study halls
-   Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
-   Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
-   Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
-   Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
-   Develop supportive and safe learning environments

## Requirements

-   Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
-   Teaching certificate
-   Three or more years teaching experience in the subject
-   Excellent communications skills
